For mining aggregates, we specify a woven polypropylene fabric with a minimum basis weight of 200 g/m² and reinforced cross-corner loops. This configuration handles sharp edges and repeated lifting without premature wear.
Capacity is stated in kilograms based on the bulk density of the material, not the physical volume of the bag. A standard 1000 kg FIBC for grains has a different fill height than one for crushed stone. We always confirm the bulk density of your product before recommending a specific bag size.
Standard FIBCs are suitable for dry, free-flowing materials like rice, maize, soybean meal, and dry fertilizers. For materials with high moisture content or irregular lumps, we recommend an inner liner or a different fabric weave. Mining aggregates with sharp edges require a heavier fabric and a baffled design to maintain shape.
